Ben installs welded mesh fencing across the common systems — twin-wire (V-beam) mesh panels for a smart, rigid commercial boundary, and high-security 358 "prison mesh" where cut and climb resistance is the priority. The small apertures of 358 mesh give no foothold and defeat bolt croppers, while the through-visibility suits sites that rely on CCTV and natural surveillance.
Mesh systems are panel-and-post, powder-coated (commonly green or black) over galvanising, on concreted-in posts. The panel gauge, mesh aperture, height and post spec are set to the security level — a school playing field, a depot and a data centre are very different specs even though they all use "mesh". Toppings (rotating spikes, barbed or razor extensions) can be added where the threat justifies it.
It is durable, low-maintenance and clean-looking, which is why it has largely replaced chain-link for commercial and institutional boundaries. Ben builds it to the survey, with gates and access points to match.

358 mesh is a high-security welded mesh named after its panel dimensions (3" × 0.5" × 8 gauge apertures). The openings are too small for fingers or hand tools and give no foothold, making it very hard to climb or cut — hence "prison mesh". It suits sites where cut and climb resistance is the priority.
For commercial and institutional boundaries, generally yes. Rigid welded or twin-wire mesh is stronger, smarter-looking and far more durable than floppy chain-link, and high-security mesh is vastly harder to defeat. Chain-link still has a place for low-cost, low-security boundaries, but mesh has largely replaced it.
Most commonly green or black powder-coat over galvanising, with other RAL colours available to match a site or a brand. The coating also protects the steel, so the colour choice and the durability come together.
